I am currently undecided but interested in business.
I believe that society is leading the development of new technology because people are constantly trying to find faster, more technologically savvy ways to get things done. As we progress into the future, people have visions for how they expect the world to look and will do whatever they can to accomplish their visions. Without a vision or goal in mind, there would be no way for any complex thing to come about. Therefore, humans are the stimulus for progression of technology.
